Grand Rounds

The UBC Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) Provincial and Academic Grand Rounds are Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and by the Maintenance of Proficiency Program of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Grand Rounds are held both virtually (by Zoom) and connected to core hospital teaching sites throughout the province to allow learners to attend in person.


UBC DEM Provincial Grand Rounds are typically held on Wednesdays during the academic year (September to June) from 9 - 10 a.m. PT.
