If I am a locum, do I still need a Clinical Faculty appointment?
No, unless your locum term is long-term (beyond 6 months). However, if you wish to have a Clinical Faculty appointment, you can request for one.
If I have another active clinical faculty appointment with UBC, what do I need to know?
If you have another active appointment with UBC, you will not be eligible for another CF appointment. However, you can request for an Associate Member appointment.
Associate Member is an unofficial position given to a faculty member when there is a need for members of one department to have a connection with another department, but when a joint appointment is not possible.
