The Department of Emergency Medicine would like to congratulate Dr. Frank Scheuermeyer, our new DEM Associate Research Director. Frank will support Riyad Abu-Laban to help strengthen our research programs in many ways including critical review of literature through Journal Club, supporting new developing projects at Research in Progress Rounds, and spearheading new initiatives related to mentorship and increasing collaboration.
As many of you know Frank has significant research training and experience and boundless energy, and we are delighted that he has taken on this new responsibility.
