The RCPSC-EM Residency Program within the UBC Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is one of the leading emergency medicine training programs in Canada, with dedicated faculty members who provide exceptional training to all residents.
Beginning in 2023, a new teaching award will recognize one UBC DEM faculty member who has made an outstanding contribution to RCPSC emergency medicine resident education beyond clinical teaching. The recipient will be named and awarded at the full program graduation in the spring of each year.
Residents and faculty may nominate a teacher, mentor or colleague to be considered for this year’s award. The nomination criteria is available here.
