Savannah Forrester

Dr. Savannah Forrester is a staff physician working out of both the Victoria General Hospital and Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria. She is the physician lead and project co-lead for a Delirium Process Improvement project partnered with Seniors Health on Vancouver Island. She is the current secretary for the CAEP Geriatric Emergency Medicine Committee as well as an instructor for the CAEP Geriatric EM Course. In 2019 she received the Esther & Saul Baker Award as a trainee in Toronto for Outstanding Contributions in the Care of Older Patients.

Dr. Forrester is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UBC. She is the UBC EM grand rounds coordinator for the Vancouver Island site as well as a member of the competence committee for the Island EM residency program. She has completed the Island Medical Program Teacher Certificate and is currently leading the development of geriatric EM curriculum for UBC EM residents.
