Dr. Charlotte Crosbie is a graduate of Dalhousie University Medical School (MD, 2016). She obtained her Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialty certification in June 2021 through the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver site. Dr. Crosbie is also a non-practicing lawyer.

Prior to her medical training, she graduated from the Schulich School of Law (JD, 2011) at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She articled at the Halifax firm Stewart McKelvey (2011-2012) and was called the Nova Scotia Bar in 2012.

Dr. Crosbie teaches the medico-legal curriculum to the Royal College Emergency residents and she has given several grand rounds presentations on medico-legal topics. As well, she is the primary author of a major research project for the Canadian Medical Protective Association respecting complaints against medial residents and fellows in all specialties
