Dr. Kelsey Innes

Dr. Kelsey Innes

Dr. Innes is a UBC Emergency Medicine Clinical Assistant Professor and co-director of the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Emergency Department Simulation program. She grew up in Vancouver and completed her undergraduate medical degree and residency at UBC.

I love education and am passionate about teaching. I think the thing that excites me the most about work is watching our residents grow from very green first year residents into very competent and compassionate physicians. I am so proud to play a small part in their journey.

Dr. Brett Passi

Dr. Passi is a UBC Emergency Medicine Clinical Assistant Professor and emergency physician at Vancouver General Hospital.

The emergency department is an amazing place to teach—there are endless opportunities for learning. Our medical students and residents want to be challenged, want to improve, and want to grow as physicians. My favourite place to teach, and an integral part of the teaching and learning process, is right at the patient’s bedside.
