We are pleased to announce that Dr. Shahin Shirzad has accepted the position of the Department of Emergency Medicine Clerkship Director effective April 1, 2013. His duties will include provincial oversight of the core EM clerkship (currently in Year 3) and Year 4 electives.
Shahin brings much experience and personal attributes to this position that will prove valuable for the program as we move through the UBC MD undergraduate program’s curriculum renewal.
