Congratulations are in order to UBC RCPS-EM Senior Resident Dr. Doug Brown for his lead author publication on accidental hypothermia in the November 15, 2012 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine. A first author publication in the NEJM while still in residency is a remarkable accomplishment that is unprecedented in the history of Canadian emergency medicine. Well done Doug!
